Since we have been in Oklahoma, we have been so inspired by the beautiful sunsets. Every state has its unique beauty. I'd say this state could compete for it's sunsets!!
My inspiration is the feeling that sunsets are proof that endings can be good!! As a human, the word "endings" can suggest sadness. But as I have been witnessing these colorful endings to the day, I don't feel sad. It is invigorating!
How strange that we fear death yet God has given us a lesson through the sunset that death can be a beautiful.And I have truly witnessed that. I have felt so peaceful at the bedside of a committed man or woman of God whose sunset was amazing!
Though scripture says the last enemy to conquer is death, I believe that the enemy we must overcome is fear. This enemy wants us to fear it... but if we are living close to God, we can fearlessly face death and experience beauty and peace as we walk into it!
I have a greater appreciation for a sunset since I am often capturing them here. And I am grateful that I have been made aware again that endings can be wonderful!!
